Business questions
What has to be installed at each site?
One device per site connected to that site's WiFi: a Raspberry Pi, a Linux PC that is already on, or a spare Android phone. There are no cameras to wire and no building work.
How much does Viewifi cost for a business?
From $10 per site per month, with volume pricing from three sites up. That includes the central panel, several users with permissions, event export and priority support.
Does it count as a certified alarm system?
No. Viewifi is a detection and notification system, not a monitored alarm service connected to a central station, and it is not certified under private security regulation. It works well as an early-warning layer, on its own or alongside the alarm you already have.
Are employees recorded?
Detection is based on the WiFi signal, not on video. Camera and microphone are off by default and only run if you switch them on. If you do, it is your responsibility to inform staff under the employment and data protection rules that apply to you.
